1917 London Gazette - The Australian Capt. Albert Jacka's Military Cross award

Capt. Albert Jacka V.C. had already won the Victoria Cross before receiving this M.C. Many thought he deserved another Victoria Cross which would have been a Bar for his existing VC but because he was perceived as a trouble-maker by his superior officers, he was only awarded a M.C. instead.
